At Siena take the dual-carriageway towards Firenze and leave at the Poggibonsi Nord exit (not at the Colle Val d'Elsa exit even though it is marked San Gimignano as this will lengthen your journey). From Poggibonsi follow signs to San Gimignano.
From all directions: Once you get to San Gimignano, take the main road for Volterra (turn left at the first roundabout after going past the town sign; there is a car park to the right of the roundabout); after 4.0 Km at San Donato (a small village near San Gimignano) you will see a sign reading "Voltrona 1.6 km". Turn left and follow the signs to "Agriturismo Voltrona". Voltrona lies at the end of a gravel road 1.5 km away from San Donato.
